GISBORME VISIT CONCLUDED COMMENT ON QUALITY OF LAND. [BY TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT. 1 GISBORNE, Friday.

Members of the Railways Board concluded their visit to the Gisb'orne. district this morning when they left. fw Napier.

Newman described the country seen during the trip to Tolaga Bay as magni ficent, and he commented upon the 18 suits of swamp land improvement and hill top ploughing.
