WRESTLING.
LURICH AND ALLEY. More than ordinary interest attaches to the wrestling contest between Tom Alley and Tom Lurich, which is set down for decision at the Town Hall on Monday evening. Alley's two matches with Scotly TicDougnll are still fresh in tho minds of wrestling patrons who anticipate an even better encounter on Monday, Alley has proved himself an exponent of no _ mean ability and in Lurich* he is faced with an opponent who needs no introductfoii to Auck-land-patrons, Lurich has in tho past given the redoubtable George Walker somo close calls and his success over King Elliott at Hamilton on Thursday has further enhanced his reputation. Supporters of each wrestler are confident of their man being successful and a thrilling match can be expected.
