HARRIER RACING.

UNIVERSITY CLUB. The University Harrier Club held a race fit New Lynn on Saturday over a course of nine miles. Recent rain had made the going very heavy and it fully tested the stamina of the 20 competitors. A run-in of SOOyds. resulted: —J. Magee, 1; V. Simmonds, 2; L. Linn, N. Cooper, E. Hooper, W. Brctnall. COMBINED RUN. A combined harrier run was held by tho Technical Old Boye' and Calliope Clubs at Mission Bay on Saturday, over a hard cross-country course. Owing to a misunderstanding the slow pack covered a course of about eeven miles, while the. fast pack covered about four miles at almost a racing pace.
