CLUB'S ANNUAL SHOW. RECORD ENTRIES RECEIVED. SPECIAL AND OTHER PRIZES. The seventh annual show arranged by the Auckland Yorkshire Canary Club was held in the Unity Ilall on Saturday. A record number of entries, 163, was received, and marked public, interest was shown. The following special prizes were awardedDavis Cup for best bird in show: N. Munro. Speight Cup for best bird in open classes: N. Munro. Trophy for best unflighted bird bred by exhibitor: G. Beeston. Unflighted Cup: Miss Thorne. Ryder Cup for best cinnamon or cinnamon-marked bird: W. A. Henry. Novice Cup (presented by Mr. N. Munro): Mrs. Sutor. Champion Blue Ribbon for best bird in show: N. Munro. Special for best hen in show: Miss Thorne. Special for best of opposite sex: Miss Thorne. Special for best unflighted bird: W. Johns. Trophy for greenmarked bird: W. A. Henry.
