MISHAP TO 'STEAMER.
VESSEL LOADING IN SOUTH.
DAMAGE TO PROPELLER.
[hy telegraph.—press association.] WELLINGTON. Wednesday.
Advice has been received by tho local office of tho Canterbury Steam Shipping Company, Ltd., that the steamer Calm, 891 tons, has damaged her propeller and will liavo to go into dock at Lyttelton.
Tho Calm has been loading in tho South for Wellington and was to have arrived at Wellington from Lyttelton today. Her cargo will bo transhipped to tho Storm, which is duo at Wellington on Friday.
