SLEEPING IN GARAGE.
OFFENDER AT WAIHI.
IMPRISONMENT FOR VAGRANCY.
[BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORHESPONDENT, WAIHI, Wednesday.
A man who was found sleeping in a motor-car in the garage of the Commercial Hotel last night, Alfred Davitt, a stranger to tho town, pleaded guilty in tho Police Court to-day to being a rogue and vagabond and being on premises without lawful excuse.
Accused, against whom were several convictions, was sentenced to three months' imprisonment.
