AUCKLAND PRESBYTERY.
ASSESSMENTS IN ARREARS. The Auckland Presbytery met last evening, tho moderator, Mr. S. J. Harbutt, presiding. Complaint was received from the treasurer of tho General Assembly, Mr. V. G. Chapman, 20 congregations were in arrears with their assessments for the beneficiary and assembly expenses funds. Reporting on behalf of the Life and Work Committee," the Rev. L. H. Hunt said it hoped to bring down shortly a. definite scheme for.Sunday school extension and church extension generally in the suburbs. •The Revs. F. A. Thompson and T. N. Cuttle; and Mr. .W. li. Nicholas, were appointed to represent tho. Presbytery on the Presbyterian Sunday School Teachers' Association.
