Addressing t.lie Constitutional Association to-day, Mr. A. C. Davidson, general manager of tho Bank of New South Wales, expressed the opinion that if the retrenchment plan of tho Premiers' Conference were carried out faithfully, the Budgets should ho balanced in 1934. Business men, he said, should bo able to. plan almost immediately for a return of confidence. " The change may come slowly but I urge business men to hang on. Yon will be surprised with what ease and trifling disturbance) it can bo done.
" You may object to this or that, but I appeal to you to keep the whole economy plan together. Encourage your friends to take up their share, of tho good work and all will conic light much sooner than you expect."
