POLICE TRANSFERS.
Constable Geraghty, of Ruawai, who has bpen promoted to the rank of sergeant and transferred to Auckland, has arrived and will take up his duties in tho city this week Sergeant Daly, of the Newton station, has been transferred to Napier, find his position will be occupiad by a sergeant from the central station utaff.
