NEW ZEALANDERS AT HOME.

[FROM OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT.] LONDON, May 15. Mr. and Mrs. S. H. Todd (Auckland) and the Misses W. and R. Todd, recent arrivals from New Zealand, are spending a fortnight in London before going to the Continent. Scotland and Ireland will be toured later. Mr. Pascoe Redwood (Auckland), who was for some time on the staff of the Elam School of Art, and who came to Europe to continue his studies, has gone to the Continent with Mr. P. J, Clancy, an Australian journalist. A few days ago, when Mr-. George Bernard Shaw -was chief guest at the luncheon of the Institute of Journalists, Sir Thomas Wilford was also a guest. The latter was greatly interested to meet Mr. Shaw. In tho course of conversation, Mr. Shaw told the High Commissioner than an uncle of his named Edward Shaw, a lawyer, had lived in New Zealand, and asked if he had ever met him. "Yes," said Sir Thomas, "I served my apprenticeship with his firm and knew him very well."

Mr. 11. D. Bunby (Auckland) and his daughter,, and Miss I. H. Smith spent a week in London, and then -began a motor tour through the southern and western counties, visiting friends en route. Later a motor tour will bo made in the North and in Scotland, and a trip to the Continent is to be undertaken. Early in August the travellers will leave on their return to New Zealand, going via Canada.
