INGENIOUS CRIME.
ATTEMPT TO ROB BANK. STAFF GIVEN POISONOUS FOOD. (Received Juno 13, 1.15 a.m.) TOKIO, June 12. An original attempt to rob a bank is reported from Dairen. r J he night staff received gifts of supper from an " anonymous friend," which was followed by severe pains. The victims aro in a precarious condition. The police have arrested a Japanese who was formerly in an official position. At present ho is bead of a commercial firm. They have also discovered a safebreaking outfit.
