WEEK-END WEATHER.
CONDITIONS IN THE SOUTH.
Auckland.—Tho weather was changenblo during tlio week-end. Tho sky was cloudy and threatening and light showers were experienced early yesterday morning. On Saturday the, wind was light northeast, but. yesterday it had changed to the north. There was very little movement of the barometer, which was steady last night at 30.45 in. Wellington.—The weather was pleasant for the week-end. Although Saturday morning was dull there was bright sunshine in tlio afternoon with a fresh northerly breeze. The sky was cloudless yesterday morning but clouded over during the afternoon. There was a light, wind from tlio north. Christchurch.—The weather over the week-end was fine. Saturday was foggy in the morning and late afternoon, but yesterday was clear and warm, a light nor'-wester wind being experienced. The barometer was falling yesterday and the reading in the evening was 30.30 in. Dunedin.—A fog enveloped the city on Saturday morning but it cleared during the morning and the remainder of the day was fine with a light breeze from the north-east. Brilliant warm sunshine prevailed yesterday with a light north-west breeze. The barometer, which rose to 30.60 on Saturday, dropped sharply yesterday, tho reading last evening being 30.20 in.
