SYDNEY HOSPITALS.
FAILURE OF CHURCH APPEAL. COST FAR ABOVE RECEIPTS. SYDNEY. May 9. The efforts of tho churches to raise £250,000 for the hospitals resulted in complete failure. The committee's report shows that the total receipts were £862, and the expenses £3235.
