OBITUARY.
MIL W. W. BLAYMIRES. Mr. William Wilkinson Blaymires, whose death has occurred at Paengaroa, was born at Bradford, England, 37 years ago. When lie was 15 years old, Mr. Blaymires left England for New Zealand on the ship Mariner, under Captain Leaser. He landed with his parents at I'icton, then known as Waitoki, and resided for many years in Marlborough. On the opening of Lhe Blenhoim-Picton railway. Mr. Blaymires entered the railway service and was in the department for 13 years before he left for tho North Island to take up land at Kaponga, Tara naki. lie removed to Foilding later, and in 3902 he acquired a farm at Maniatutu Road, Paengaroa. Until a short time ago he enjoyed good health. Mr. Blaymires was greatly interested in music. At Blenheim, in 1888, he married Miss Rose Neale, of Hanslope, Buckinghamshire, whose death took place in 1901. There is. an adult family.
