BOXING.
HUGHES AND HARRY JOHNS. To-night at the Town Hall Archie Hushes and Harry Johns will meet in the contest for which both have been stenrlily preparing for the past fortnight Both have shown excellent form in their training bouts and are in the pink of condition. Tne contest promises to be equal to any fight staged here for some time, and although Hughes' experience has resulted in him being made favourite over Johns, the latter is the faster mover. A boxer opposed to a fighter invariably provides a good contest and the fight tonisht should prove no exception. There will be no broadcast of the bout and the admission charges huve been reduced. The amateur programme which will support the big contest abo promises some goods tights.
