AIR FORCE CRASHES.
ANOTHER FATAL ACCIDENT. DEATHS THIS YEAR NOW 42. LONDON. Mny 7. An aeroplane crash, the third in the last two or three days, resulted in the Heath of Aircraftsman Merrinian. The pilot was not injured. The death of Flight-Lientenant If. R. Waghorn brings the total number of deaths in the Royal Air Force to 42 in 1931.
Lieutenant Waghorn's wife was summoned to his bedside at midnight on Tuesday and she watched unceasingly to the end. Lieutenant Waghorn fought gallantly for life, and the doctors hoped he would pull through, but he became unconscious yesterday afternoon and failed to recover.
