ARCTIC SURVEY TARTY
COURTAULD ALIVE AND WELL. REPORT FROM AHRENBERG. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received May 8, 8.45 p.m.) COPENHAGEN, May 8. Mr. Augustine Courtauld, who was lost on tho Greenland icecap, where he remained alone during the winter, has been found alive and well. Ho will return with Mr. IT. G. Watkins and his party, who went to look for liini in an aeroplane. The news of Mr. Gourtauld's rescue was received through Angmagsalik from Captain Ahrenberg, who, after searching over the hut and seeing no sign of Mr. Courtauld, continued his flight until he observed Mr. Watkins* party with Mr. Courtauld.
Letters and meat were dropped. There was bright sunshine, but the snow surface was soft. Mr. Watkins and his party will probably take eight days to return.
Captain Ahrenberg has notified Mr. Stevenson's party that there is no need to search further.
