SPORT AT WHAKATANE. [FROM OUR OWN COHRESPONDENT. ] HAMILTON. Fridny. Pheasants are fairly plentiful in the Whakatane district, according to Mr. D. D. Wilson, of Frankton, who has just returned from a shooting expedition in the district. Mr. Wilson and Mr. W. Everest., who accompanied him, brought home 30 ducks and 12 cock pheasant*.
