THROWN FROM A HORSE.
LITTLE GIRL INJURED. CONDITION REPORTED SERIOUS. [from our own correspondent.] HUNTLY, Friday. Through her horse shying while she was riding down a steep gully at Iluntly West yesterday, a Maori girl named Kangi Teddy, aged 11, was thrown. In sliding along the ground she came in contact with the sharp, protruding roots, which inflicted severe, injuries. She was admitted to Waikato Hospital, where her condition is serious.
