CHUTNEY FRITTERS.
Cut some very thin slices of bread, and Stamp them out in rounds; spread rather thickly/ with chutney; over this lay a slice of ham; dip into frying batter, fry in plenty-/of hot fat. drain on paper, fprinkle with finely-chopped gherkins or capers, and servo vorv hot.
