GOOD LONDON COMPETITION.
FULL LATE RATES PAID.
LONDON, May 1. At the wool sales to-day 10,940 bales were offered, including 5518 from New Zealand, and about 9600 were sold. There was a largo offering ol super-style greasy Merinos and fcrossbrcds, and a good offering of slipes. There was good competition at full late rates. „ The New Zealand greasy Southdown clip l'ukemokihi made top price, ojJ>d, average B|d; Summer Hills, 9|d; the Merino clip J lid nnd lOJdj tlie crossbred clip Glenaros, and 7|d; Flag, Bjd and 7Jd. BRADFORD TOPS.
On the Bradford market tlvsre is very little business. Seventies are quoted at 2s 2d per lb; 64's, 2sj; 60's, Is lid; 56's, Is 3d; 50's, Is; 46's, lOd; 40 I s, lOd.
