BRISBANE COUNCIL.
LABOUR WINS SEATS. BRISBANE. May 4. The elections to the Brisbane City Council for 20 wards resulted in the defeat of several Nationalist Tarty candidates. The Labour candidates were the most successful. The parties now stand as follows: Labour, eight members; Civic Reform, six; Nationalist Citizens, three; nonparty, three.
