TRANSFER OF POLICIES. STATEMENT IN LONDON. LONDON*. May 1. Two of the leading Australian insurance, companies, in answer to inquiries from insured people, say claims against policies registered in London will be paid in sterling, but they refuse to allow further transfers of policies to London.
