WEEK-END WEATHER.
CONDITIONS IN THE SOUTH. .Auckland.—Tho weather during the week-end was tine and clear, but a light breeze from tho south made the conditions very cold at night. The barometer, after rising to 30.45 in. at midnight on Saturday, registered 30.30 in. last night. Wellington. —Bright sunshine was, experienced on Saturday, but. the night was cold. Yesterday was overcast at times, but was generally fine. The wind was still cold, but tho evening was warmer. Christchurch.—The weather on Saturday was fine but cold following a frost of 13.5 degrees. Yesterday was rather bleak, with occasional periods of sunshine. Dunedin.—Following a cold night -and several degrees of frost the weather was sunny and pleasant on Saturday. The wind was very light from the north-east. Yesterday was fine, but dull. There was a light south-west wind, The barometer was high and steady, the reading being 30.22 in. last evening.
