PAPATOETOE DANCE.

HOCKEY CLUB EVENING. The Town Hall, Papatoetoe, presented a gay appearance on Friday evening when the Papatoetoe Hockey Club held its annual ball. There was a large number of members and friends present, the guests being received by Dr. A. B. Jameson, the club president, and Mrs. Jameson. Among the visitors from kindred clubs was Mr. L. C. Kent, president of the Auckland Hockey Association. Excellent dance music was provided by Adams' orchestra and extras were played by Mrs. A. J. Colljugs and Miss E. Burnside. Messrs. E. D. Burnside, S. Snelling, W. Anderson and C. 11. had charge of the floor arrangements and supper was served under the direction of Miss Sutton, Miss Waters, Mrs. Burnside, Mrs. Kerr, Miss Burnside and Miss Campbell.
