PAPATOETOE DANCE.
HOCKEY CLUB EVENING. The Town Hall, Papatoetoe, presented a gay appearance on Friday evening when the Papatoetoe Hockey Club held its annual ball. There was a large number of members and friends present, the guests being received by Dr. A. B. Jameson, the club president, and Mrs. Jameson. Among the visitors from kindred clubs was Mr. L. C. Kent, president of the Auckland Hockey Association. Excellent dance music was provided by Adams' orchestra and extras were played by Mrs. A. J. Colljugs and Miss E. Burnside. Messrs. E. D. Burnside, S. Snelling, W. Anderson and C. 11. had charge of the floor arrangements and supper was served under the direction of Miss Sutton, Miss Waters, Mrs. Burnside, Mrs. Kerr, Miss Burnside and Miss Campbell. " Among those present were Mrs. F. M. Walters, Mrs. ,1. Kerr, Mrs. 11. P. Wills (New Plymouth), Mrs. A. J. C'ollings, Mrs. W. Johnston, Miss W. Burnside, Miss Burnside, Miss Percy, Miss R. Burnside, Miss W. J. W inn, Miss Gladys Grinter, Miss Dulcie Crinter, Miss llona Lipscombe, Miss Audrey Vullerton, Miss Rene Wotherspoon, Miss Esther Watts, Miss V. Hope Johnstone, Miss J. Baverstock. Miss Linda Linton, Miss i. Gow, Miss McFarland, Miss Eileen Lynch, Miss W. Uoldsworth, Miss E. Hastings, Miss Ada Eade, Miss L. Kingsford. Miss A. Ellett, Miss M. Booth, Miss G. Holmes, Miss Sheila Phillipson, Miss V. Burrill. Miss T. Willerton, Miss Francis Robinson, Miss K. Shaw, Miss Molly Barton, Miss N. Burrill, Miss Yolande Willerton,. Miss P. E.
