TENNIS ASSOCIATION.
A progressive tennis evening at the Clivc Road night courts terminated a successful season of the Churches' Tennis Association.
During supper (he president, Mr. E. L. Burton, presented the trophies, the winners of I lie respective grades being as follows :—lnter-club matches: A grade shield, Mount Alheil Presbyterian Church; B grade, Spalding (hallenge. cup: West Street Church of Christ. Singles competition:— A 'men, W. Thomson; B. men, A. Smith; A, ladies, Miss Knight; B, ladies, Miss VVorra.ll. ~ , Among those present were:—Mesdames Ald ridge, A. B. Burton, Thomas, Evcriss, Misses McAulil'fe, Evans, McKenzie, Page, Burton (2), Knight. Worrall (2), Penman, Mitchell, Garratt (2), White, Beer. French, Ballingall, Malcolm, Wilson, Miles, Ahlridge.
