A STUDY TYPES.
JOAN SUTHERLAND'S LATEST.
Joan Sutherland's latest is " Undertow." If there are improbabilities in the double theine there are adequate compensations in the skill with which the characters are drawn. " The wholesome Dolores, who brings a refining influence to bear on a cynical archduke, and her much-too-energetic mother with a passion for charity and duty of the spectacular typo, are the best of these. Women who have read " Undertow," give it a most cordial recommendation.
" Undertow," by Joan Sutherland. (Ca»acll.)
