LUXURIOUS BEAUTY.
NEW £BO,OOO SALON. A dress rehearsal was held of the beauty specialists who will be in attendance at the luxurious new hotel in Park Lane when it opens this month, we are told. White silk polo shirts and blue shorts were chosen for the massage and exercise department, Lido pyjama suits of peach silk for the hairdressers, white pique sailor suits for the bath attendants, and peach silk frocks for the girls eiving face treatments. The decoration of tho salon harmonises with these costumes. The gymnasium, which is 32ft. by 24ft., will be china blue the hairdressing department peach with green linen curtains, the Turkish baths white and apple green, and the beauty cubicles and rest-rooms putty and green. All the paint is washable, and every floor is of maple, so that women may walk about barefooted without fear of splinthousand pounds have been spent on buildings and equipping this salon, which occupies one complete floor of the hotel. Thirty British beauty specialists will be in attendance, and the exercises, treatments, and baths, many of them new to Britain, have been carefully selected and adapted from salons all over the world.
