WATERFRONT ROAD.
PROBABLE OPENING.
MAY BE NEXT SATURDAY.
It is not expected that any difficulty will be found in having the "Waterfront Road opened for traffic next Saturday •«
(Anzac Day). The Mayor, Mr. G.' Baildon, stated yesterday that some delay must occur over the dedication of the road, which for the most part is situated upon endowment lands vested in the Auckland Harbour Board, and not within the city limits. Empowering legislation is needed, and is being prepared for submission to Parliament. ,i
