PROVINCIAL TOURNAMENT. MATANGI A WINS THE CUP^ [from our own correspondent.] CAMBRIDGE, Friday. The provincial polo tournament was concluded yesterday, when' the finals of the junior cup and provincial cup were played in. Sno weather. The field was in excellent order and tlie attendance was large. 'Results were, Handicap Cup.—Cambridge A. handicap 5 goals (IST. Brown, H. Fisher, G. Vosper, R. G. Blennerhassett), 14, v. Matangi C. handicap 7 goals (X. Ranstead, T. Ranstead, u. Peake, H. Beak©), 12. Junior Cup.—Final; Matangi B (C. Bryant, R. Hinton, L. Chilty, R. Townsend), 8, v. Waihou B (M. Fitzgerald, J. White, F. Goodfellow, A. McNicoll). 2. Provincial Cup—Final: . Matangi A (G. Ranstead, J. Shaw, R. Ranstead, V. Chitty), 11, v. Wainmi A (H. Upton, K. Henry, D. Snodgrass, H. Wilson), 2. Waimai, who won the cup last, year, was expected to put up a good nhowing, but the team went to, pieces, and was beaten by a fast and wellcombined side.
