Tho film, " Dassan," which takes its name from the island, has been shown with singular success .'it the Polytechnic Iheatio in Regent Street, London. Mr. Kearton doclares thflt there are over 5.000,000 penguins on the Dassan rock. His talking film " interviews " with these antusing birds are stated to provide pleasant entertainment off the beaten track to the usual cinema programmes. It is possiblo that " Dassan " will be released in New Zealand during the early part of th* year.
