AFTER THIRTY YEARS.
SISTER WHO VANISHED. GOOD NEWS FOR BROTHERS. Thirty years ago a Miss Nellie Keys, nf Wakering, Essex, three miles from Southend, vanished from her village home, tier family failed to trace her and belived she. was dead. Recently the missing woman's brothers, Mr. Sidney Keys and Mr. Joseph Keys, of Southend, received three letters by the same post. One was addressed: " Mr. Sidney Keys, Southend, England." The two others were addressed to Mr. Joseph Keys and Mr. George Keys, oi Southend, England " The letters, dated February 14, informed the brothers that their sister was alive and that she was Mrs. Payne, of Temple, Texas. .Written by a niece whom the brothers have, of course, never seen, the letters continued: "We have done everything possible to get into touch with you and failed. We arc addressing this to Southend in the hope that one <>f you js still in the district, and that the postal authorities will be able to deliver it." Mr. George Keys is dead, but Sidney and .Joseph are living together at Soul hend.
Mr. Sidney Keys stated: " We had given up ail hope of ever hearing from .sel lie. I can just remember her. I have recently returned from Australia, and it is strange that 1 should come home and stay with my brother Joseph in time for such a big surprise. We have cabled to Texas to say that the letters have reached us " It is remarkable that the Post. Office shouhi uu able to deliver all three, letters together and with no loss ot tune in transit. I only wish Nellie had tried the address, ' Keys, Southend, England.' sooner. Won't she be sui prised to re(eive our cable!"
