BUTTER MARKET DULL.
NEW ZEALAND 107s TO 108s. LONDON, April 10. The butter market is dull. Danish is quoted at, 1235; choicest salted New Zealand, 107s to 108s; Australian, 104s to 106s; unsalted New Zealand, 114s to 116s; Australian, 110s to 112s. The cheese market is slow. New Zealand white is quoted at 50s to 51s; coloured, 52s tb 545 ; Australian, white, 49s to 50s; coloured, 52s to 535. REPORTS OF MERCHANTS. Amalgamated Dairies, Limited, has received the following cablegram from Londonßutter: New Zealand finest now generally 108s. Slightly better demand. Finest reduced in competition to 110s. Retail prices unchanged; some cases Australian Is Id. The cheese market is easier. White, 50s to 51s; coloured, 53s to 545. Market very dull. Littio business passing. Retail prices unchanged. W. W. Bowker has received the following cablegram from London: —The butter market is slow. New Zealand, finest 108s, firsts 106s to 107s, unsalted 112s to 114s; Danish, 1225; Australian, 104s to 106s. The cheese market is quiet. New Zealand, white 50s to 51s, coloured 53s to 54s > Canadian unchanged. Norden and Company, Ltd., has received the following cablegram from London : _Butter, 107s to 108s; market weak. Cheese: White, 49s to 50s; coloured, 52s to 535; market weak.
