The wreckage of the steamer Malabar was sold by auction to-day on the orders of tho underwriters for £l4O. Tho cargo was bought for £4O. Tho vessel originally cost nearly £250,000. A Marino Court inquiry has been opened concerning the loss of the steamer. ,The proceedings to-day wero private. Captain Leslie's evidence was taken and the Court adjourned.
