DONOVAN DEFEATS JONES. | BV TELEQTIAVH. —PREPS ASSOCIATION.] NEW PLYMOUTH. Monday. In a boxing contest at Hawera this evening Tommy Donovan (Wnitnrn). New Zealand featherweight and light weight champion,' defeated Jack Jones (Hawera), ox-champion of Wales, on points. Donovan was toe fast and rugged for Jones and wore him down, but Jones boxed well.
