SOUTH AMERICAN ZONE. ARGENTINA BEATS URUGUAY. (Received April 5, 5.5 p.m.) BUENOS AIRES, April 4. In the Davis Cup contest, South American zone, Lucilo del Castillo (Argentina) defeated Juan da Silva (Uruguay), 6 —l, 6—2, 6 —o, and Ronaldo Boyd (Argentina), defeated Eduardo Stanham (Uruguay), 6 —2, 6—l, 6 —3. In the doubles Adrian Zappa and Eonaid o Boyd (Argentina) defeated Eduardo Stanham and Juan da Silva, 6—l, 6—l, 6-1.
Argentina thus won the rubber and will meet Chile in the final of the zone play- ___
