COMMISSIONER OF POLICE.
VISIT TO AUCKLAND. Mr. W. G. Wohlmn.-in. Commissioner of Police, arrived from Wellington on Friday morning on n brief visit to Auckland. During the week-end the commissionerheld an informal discussion with Superintendent Till and Inspector Hollis, of the Auckland police, inspector Harvey, cf Whangarei, and Inspector E<cles, of Hamilton. The commissioner will leave for Wellington this evening.
