LEAGUE FOOTBALL.
THE NEW CONSTITUTION. DUFTY AND DELGROSSO. The now constitution for the control of League football in Auckland was adopted at a meeting of the management committee of the Auckland Rugby League. Until now tho management comnn'ttee lias consisted of 20 club delegates. Tho new committee will consist of a chairman, elected by. the trustees of Carlaw Park, a secretary and a treasurer, a referees' delegate. the chairman of t.he junior management committee, and two club delegates, who shall not be members of or actively interested in any club.. Nominations for the positions of club delegates will be made by hnllot among the clubs. Mr. G. Rhodes presided. Mr. Rhodes explained the new clauses in detail, and referred to the splendid support given by delegates in the pa*t. An application was received from the Ellorslie United Club for the reopening tf the case of Dufty. The application was referred to the New Zealand Council. A personal application was made to the indicial committee by to have his disqualification reviewed. Delgrosso expressed his anologies and regret for the conduct leading to his disqualification. The matter was considered in committee, and it was decided to remit tho remainder of Delgrosso's suspension. AVONDALE CLUB. The report presented at the annual meeting of the Avondale League Football Club showed that a very successful season had been experienced. The balancesheet showed a credit balance of £~ ins Jid. The following officers were elected: — President, Mr. H. P. Burton; patron. Dr. .T. Aickpn-Paterson; vice-natron, Mr. Cecil H. Herdson: secretary, Mr. L. Rout: treasurer, Mr E. Herring; committee, Messrs. pj. R. Fosler, S. Ilollinger, "W. F. Clough, J. Milburn.
