LEAGUE FOOTBALL.
PAPAKURA CLUB FORMED. A well attended meeting of league footballers and supporters in the Papakura district met at Papakura on Thursday evening and decided to form a club to he named the Papakura Rugby League Club lAhout 60 players were enrolled. The following officers were elected President. Mr. E. C. Foote; secretary. Mr. H. D. Spinley; treasurer. Mr. R. 11. GoddeiW committee. Messrs. H. W. Morrow, VV. Leighton, C. Buekeridge, G. 0. tAchieson, L. Feildspnd and A. H. TNI art in. The secretary was instructed to approach the Papakura "Town Board for the use of tho*playing reserves.
