DEMAND FOR REMOVAL.
NEW YORK, March 18.
The New York City Affairs Committee has issued a report demanding the removal of the Mayor, Mr. J. J. Walker, on charges of incompetence . and malfeasanco,
Public feeling has been aroused in New York of Into by a series of crimes against women. Recently the Mayor, Mr. Walker, on whom groujift of citizens and the newspapers had called to assume the leadership in the control of matters which, ho said, had shocked him more or loss, announced that ho was about to leave for a month's vacation in California.
