DEATH OF A LINESMAN.

ACCIDENT AT PUTARURU.

[BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] PUTARURU, Thursday.

A linesman employed by the . Thames Valley Power Board, Mr. William James Adams, aged 45, a married man with two grown-up children, of Matamata, was killed in Putaruru this morning.

With three others "he was engaged in electric wiring, and without warning fell from the top of a pole. A doctor was summoned and on arrival pronounced life to be extinct. Tho unfortunate man's neck was broken.
