SUDDEN DEATH ON SHIP.
COLLAPSE OF ELDERLY MAN.
While travelling from' Whangaparaoa to Auckland, Jlr. William Harrison died on the steamer Rangitoto last evening as she ■was nearing ,port. Mr. Harrison, who was aged 74, had been living alone at Whangaparaoa for some time. As far as is known he had no relatives in. New Zealand.
Mr. Harrison joined the Rangitoto, which called at Whangaparaoa on the return journey from Great Barriar Island, about 2.30 yesterday afternoon. When he was walking along the deck about 7.30 ho collapsed, death taking place immediately. i
