PRESENTATIONS.
Tho presentation of a set of pipes was made yesterday, morning to Mr. E. E. Grimwade, tho retiring superintendent of St. Peter's Sunday School, Takapuna. Mr. Grimwade has acted rs superintendent of tho Sunday school for many years, as well as taking an active part in other church work of the district, but owing; to his having moved to the city, has retired. Mr. E. C. Cutten has been appointed the new superintendent. After the final meeting of the old Huntly Town Board, the chairman. Mr. E. George, eulogised the services of the commissioner, Mr. W. H. Bailey, who did not seek election for the new borough council, and presented him with a goldmounted pencil. He said Mr. Bailey hao* given many years of valuable service to the old Town Board locally and would be missed on the new council, t and residents generally regretted his decision net to stand again, »-■ :
