BOY SCOUT RALLY.
AWARD TO DR. C. FENWICK.
SILVER WOLF DECORATION.

Thero wcro 1000 Boy Scouts and 1000 Girl Guides at tho massed rally at Carisbrook to-day, on the occasion of the visit by Lord and Lady Baden-Powell, of whom 250 journeyed by a special train from Invcrcargill. Contingents woro also prosent from North, South and Central Otago.
An effective display of drill, marching, scoutcraft and first-aid was witnessed by a crowd of 10,000 to 12,000 persons.
Lord Baden-Powell, in addressing the gathering, referred to tho great work done for the Scout movement by Dr. Clennol Fenwick, Dominion Commissioner, and as a token of appreciation presented to him a silvor wolf, the highest decoration the Scout movement can offer,
