PRESENTATION.
Senior-Sergeant O'.Grady, of Whantfarei. who has been transferred to the Newton police was bidden faretve'l by tho members of the Whangarei policw forco yesterday. Inspector Harvey, on behalf of the force, presented the sienior sergeant with a handsome suitcase and Mrs. O'Grady with a lady's bag. ..Th* inspector said he had known the aienior sergeant for maiiy years and had a'lwaya found him » willing and conscientious officer. The senior sergeant, in responding, thanked the members of the force lot their expression pf comradeship*
