TE AROHA SPORTS CLUB.
EASTER MEETING ARRANGED. [from our own correspondent.] TE AROHA, Tuesday. There was a large attendance at the anrual meeting of the To Aroha. Athletic and Cycling Club last evening, when the president, Mr. C. W. Kennedy, presided. The balance-sheet showed receipts at £lßl and expenditure at £l2B, leaving a credit balance of £56. It was decided to hold the usual sports meeting on Easter iMonday.
The following officers were elected ron the Mayor, Mr. R. Caulter; president, Mr' C. W. Kennedy; vice-presidents, Messrs. R L Somers, T. M. Curran, J. C. Carroll. F - W Walters, G. Page, S. Danes, JV Quirk, A. D. Jones, J. Hepburn and J. H. Evans; committee, Messrs. Lock.ver, Watson Tihby. Davies, Quirk, Rivett,, O Conneli, Walsh and A. Whatford; secretary. W. Trotman: treasurer. W. Goddard. A programme of running, cycling and chopping events was drawn up and three cup trophies were donated by members.
