AUCKLAND COURSING CLUB.
ANNUAL MEETING HELD. There wns a large attendance at the annual meeting of the Auckland Coursing Club last evening. The president, Mr. W Noonan, presided. The president stated that in view of the fact that the Australasian Waterloo Cup event would be held this year by the Auckland Coursing Club, the coming season promised to be a very interesting one. A cup valued at £25 had been given for the event by Mr. J. Hanna. Prior to the election of officers, the secretary, Mr. W. It. Arnold, intimated his intnetion of resigning from the office. Ho was accorded a hearty vote of thanks and elected a life member of the club. Mr. W. Morton was elected to fill the vacancy. The election of the other officers resulted as follows: —President, Mr. W. Noonan; vice-prscident ex officio, Mr. J. Young; committee, Messrs. J. Smith, W. Arnold, J. McGrath, W. Sheeran, M. Freeney, A. Durno, J. Troy, H. Taylor and M. Hardy.
