ENDURANCE SWIM.
WOMEN COMPETITORS. MANLY BATHS CONTEST. (Received February 1. 5.5 p.m.) ' SYDNEY, Feb. 1. The women's endurance swim at the Manly baths promises to resolve itself into a struggle between Miss Mercedes Gleitze and Mrs. Katerina Nehua, the Maori swimmer, who is the mother of four children, one only nine weeks old. Site entered the water 12 hours ahead of Miss Gleitze. Mrs. Ashcroft, of Manly, retired after 17h. 24m. At 2 a.m. to day tho times were: Irene Rolfe, aged 19, of Bondi, 28h. 30m.; Mrs. Katerina Nehua, 28h. 16m.; Miss Lily Copplestono (New Zealand), 281k ; Miss Gleitze, 10b.
