DAIRYING SECRETARY.
NORTHERN WAIROA COMPANY [BX TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] DARGAYILLE. Thursday. Tho directors of the Northern Wairoa Dairy Company to-day appointed Mr. Mark De Renzie l'etrio secretary to tho Wairoa Stores, to be secretary to tho Dairy Company, at a salary of £SOO a year. There were more than 150 applicants for the position from all parts of the Dominion. Mr. Petrio served in the Great War. Mr. A. L. Billing, who has been secretary to the company for well over 30 years, lias resigned as from March 31 next, when Mr. Pctrie will tako over his duties.
