CHILDREN'S HEALTH CAMP.
OPENING ON MONDAY. EIGHtY GOING TO MOTUIHI.
The larger of the two children's health camps arranged by the Community htinshiuo Association in conjunction with the Dijpartmeht of Health will ho opened in the Government buildings on Motuihi on Monday. Last Monday 25 girls whose health needed building up wore taken to the association's camp at Ostend, where, under skilled direction, every opportunity for healthy enjoyment is being given them.
To-day supplies will be forwarded for 1 the Motuihi camp and several officers will go to (he island to get everything in readiness. The 80 school children who have been selected as likely to benefit most from such a camp will be taken to the island on Monday morning. The intention is that they, shall spend tho whole of- Ihe school holidays there. The camp commandant will be Mr. G. j If. Plummet - , and included in the staff ol | 10 will be a nurse provided by the Health Department. The camp will bo in cotir ! slant touch by telephone with two modi- J cal advisers.
